Nadeau: PLAY OF THE DAY / KEE 4.11.26
| “PLAY of the DAY” by Brian Nadeau | ||
| Date | 4/11/26 | |
| Featured track | Keeneland | |
| Race number | 9 | |
| Race overview | An extremely modest renewal of the G1 Jenny Wiley for fm4up at
1 1/16 miles on the turf. |
|
| Pace | With the exception of longshot #9 Aussie Girl (8-2), there’s none here, so expect a tight group behind her, and a race that will turn into a sprint off the far turn. | |
| Trends | The Kee turf typically plays on the fair side, with stalker/closers having just as good of a chance as the front runners, unlike the speedy highways you may see at GP or SA. | |
| Best Play | #7 LUSH LIPS (5-2): Was not really a fan of this gal at 3 while she beat up on sub-par competition in slow time, but her comeback win at 4 in the G3 Honey Fox at GP was a sight to behold, as she was simply prepping for this while taking on older, yet she was shot out of a cannon late and won with ease, so with an expected move forward coming, this group of G2 and G3 types can’t beat her. | |
| Bet Types | Aggressive WP bet, and single in the late Pk5/Pk4 as well. | |
