Nadeau: Play of the Day KEE 10.31.26/BC Turf Sprint
| “PLAY of the DAY” by Brian Nadeau | |
| Date | 10/31/26 |
| Featured track | Keeneland Breeders’ Cup Saturday |
| Race number | 5 |
| Race overview | A solid, if unspectacular renewal of the G1 Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint at 5 ½ furlongs. |
| Pace | Simply put, it looks supersonic, as there is wild speed from a trio of runner (#3-5) drawn together, and more from #11, which suggests, over testing ground, that this could fall apart late. |
| Trends | The turf was beaten up and had plenty of give to it during the recently concluded meet, both of which figure to play to the Euros. |
| Best Play | #7 COMANCHE BRAVE (3-1): European star was visually impressive unleashing a huge late kick to win the G1 Flying Five after a troubled trip, while showing to be much handier winning the G1 July Cup from close range prior to that, and in a race where they’ll set him up, he needs only a relatively clean trip to deliver. |
| Bet Types | Aggressive WP bet, and single in all horizontal exotics as well. |
