Nadeau: Churchill Play of the Day Thurs 6.5.25
“PLAY of the DAY” by Brian Nadeau | |
Date | 6/5/25 |
Featured track | Saratoga |
Race number | 5 |
Race overview | A seemingly weak MSW for NYBs fm3up at 1 1/16 miles on the inner turf course. |
Pace | It should be honest, as there are several stretching out, along with some dirt sprinters, so you have to figure more than a few will be involved early and often. |
Trends | There’s nothing to garner, as this is just a one-off five-day race week, but if the weather cooperates (another mystery), take note of how speed is playing on both turf courses. |
Best Play | #5 NONNA LYNNE (7-2) (turf or dirt): Homebred has a nice pedigree and was a decent 4th in her only start in September, which hints that Brown had this spot in mind for the comeback for quite some time, and with some added maturity, the addition of Lasix, and a meek field to face her, she looks tough. |
Bet Types | Aggressive WP bet and single to end the early Pk5/Pk4, and in the middle Pk5/Pk4 as well. |
