Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description:
The Facilities Technician reports to the Director of Facilities and is responsible to travel to various OTB locations to assist in all aspects of property maintenance, including preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance of all corporate offices and branch locations. Specific duties and responsibilities are listed below.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two years related experience and/or training.
• Ability to take direction, be organized and effectively communicate with the Director and all departments and staff.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Primary responsibilities of facility maintenance include painting, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and light cleaning.
• Responsible for completing facility work orders in a timely manner.
• Assists in the daily maintenance of branch facilities and the repairs of issues involving roofs, ceilings, walls, floors, temperature issues, toilet/sink repairs, etc. and the overall appearance of branch locations.
• Maintain the grounds of locations to include mowing, and parking lot repairs, removal of snow and salting of parking lots and sidewalks.
• Pick up and deliver supplies to various locations when needed.
• Must be on call alternating weekends and in case of emergencies.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a background check.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
